MA Architects : North 10th Street

A 150,000 sf live/work residential and open-office building in the center of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This project creates much-needed office space in the burgeoning Williamsburg area and provides market-rate luxury housing. The design is intentionally simple and restrained, echoing the industrial buildings nearby and differentiating itself from the louder designs of many of the newer developments with its elegant simplicity and a geometry that breaks down the large scale of the building into a rhythm of solid and void forms.
