MOS Architects: Luoyang Science Museum

Winning competition entry, developed in conjunction with students at Tsinghua University, for a science museum and educational complex masterplan in Luoyang, China. The museum is imagined as a mountain of multiple museum program elements ranging from exhibition halls, theater spaces, events, and various other elements wrapped in a bulging, louvered facade that unfurls as it reaches the ground level to create a walkable landscape of public space.
