Respite Tower

A design for a vacation residence for a couple. An exercise in timber construction, the design involvese a super-structure timber frame to which smaller beams are fastened, creating a meandering enclosure that climbs the larger structure. The couple enters the base via separate doors and meets in the bedroom.
